Full-Time Account Manager – Western Region

Job summary:
The Account Manager – Western Region, is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in the food processing equipment arena. We are a dynamic company that is continuing to grow and advance with our customers. We are needing to hire someone to drive and scope the future sales within our Western Region. This will cover the western states of the USA as well as the western provinces of Canada.
The Account Manager – Western Region will be responsible for working directly with the customers and selling new capital equipment solutions into the market. They will meet with customers both in person as well as virtually to find new opportunities and drive projects forward. In this role, they will be responsible for hitting sales targets and expanding our market penetration. This individual will be well connected to their customers and market providing frequent feedback on market demands and new projects.
Qualifications:
Certifications: | Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration or similar preferred |
Education: | Bachelor degree preferred |
Languages: | Excellent written & spoken English |
Training: | Recognized sales training |
Skills: | Analytical, organized, goal oriented |
Experience: | Sales of services or capital goods with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in this or similar position. Preferably experience from the food equipment industry.

Preferred Residence: | States including: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Montana |

- Proven sales & negotiation skills

- History of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- History of business growth and new market penetration
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multi-discipline team environment
- A naturally outgoing individual with an ability to interact with both customers and internal teams
- A sound knowledge of food processing solutions and the impact they have on our customers
- Ability to build lasting relationships with clients and coworkers
- A customer minded self-starting individual, who can manage time effectively and achieve agreed goals
Daily Routines include:
- Be active in our customer base communicating on potential projects
- Build and grow customer relationships by building trust through frequent customer visits and communications
- Meet the agreed targets effectively and efficiently through selling of new capital equipment projects
- Translate the new market potential into proposals of equipment solutions for the customer
- Work closely together with the Service and Support teams to manage customer expectations
- Manage and maintain pipeline of opportunities, their status, and follow up activities
- Maintain strong customer focus to ensure outstanding customer experience
- Effectively monitor any escalation process for customers
- Travel frequently within the region, and internationally when required
- Other duties assigned as needed
