Full-Time Application Specialist – Industrial Robots
Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for the selection, programming, configuration, and parameterization of the various technological components used in our projects. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring that the integration of different technologies will be done by prioritizing safety and compliance with different market standards. Finally, the incumbent will be called upon to contribute to the support of existing equipment and the continuous improvement of existing technologies and
processes.
Some responsibilities:
• Participate in the selection and integration of equipment such as industrial robots, digital vision cameras, operator interfaces, etc.
• Configure and program industrial robotics components
• Actively participate in technology transfers from the research and development department
Solve the problems related to its projects by proposing innovative solutions.
• Actively participate in factory testing (FAT)
• Participate in the installation and start-up of systems sold to customers (SAT) by adjusting and modifying equipment to optimize their operation in real situations
• Participate in the standardization of existing technologies and equipment
• Offer technical support to internal and external customers with deployed technologies
• Work in close collaboration with the various stakeholders working on the projects (project managers, PLC programming, electrical engineering, etc.)
• Ensure the application of Frontmatec’s health and safety standards and the standards and laws in force (OSHA and LSST) during construction sites and in the factory.
