About the job

 

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a crucial member, you will play a pivotal role in responding to customer inquiries, processing spare parts orders, and supporting our esteemed Field Service Technicians. Currently, this is an on-site role, located in Elizabethtown, NC.

 

As a part of the team, you will:

 

* Efficiently process customer orders for spare parts and equipment.

* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Alfa Laval’s Kathabar product catalog to aid customers in parts selection.

* Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely order delivery.

* Act as the primary liaison for Field Service Technicians regarding sales inquiries.

* Provide technical support and guidance on parts and equipment.

* Ensure technicians are equipped with necessary parts and tools for field assignments.

* Assist in scheduling and organizing technician visits to customer sites.

* Cultivate strong relationships with customers and technicians.

* Address customer inquiries promptly and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.

* Keep customers and technicians informed about product updates and information.

* Gather customer feedback to improve service quality.

* Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and technician interactions.

* Print and distribute project drawings to the factory.

* Generate regular reports on sales performance, order statuses, and technician support activities.

 

What you know:

 

You have an Associate degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field with relevant experience and:

 

* Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales or customer service, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.

* Proficiency in sales processes and customer relationship management.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Familiarity with CRM software

* Strong Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

* Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn about Alfa Laval’s Kathabar products.

* Bilingual is a plus.
