Full-Time Janitorial and Yard Maintenance
Job Description
Job Responsibilities Include
- Clean the interior building spaces consisting of offices, bathrooms, main lobby, kitchen, lunchroom, and various shop areas.
- Clean carpets, rugs, tile, floors, walls, and ceilings as needed.
- Disinfect common use items and areas as needed.
- Shampooing carpets and rugs.
- Dusting all surfaces.
- Stripping and waxing floors.
- Maintaining cleaning supply inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Using and maintaining cleaning equipment, vacuums, scrubbers, cleaners, and buffers.
- Emptying trash cans and collect/take out trash and recycling.
- Maintain outdoor grounds, cut grass, and trim bushes.
- Assist with removal of debris and snow from sidewalks as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Physical strength and stamina and ability to lift/move over 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of different cleaning products, tools and how to use them.
- Excellent organizational skills, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow safety practices and knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Must provide verifiable references who can verify prior job experience and level of responsibilities.
- Reliable and trustworthy individual.
