Stäubli Corporation is part of a growing international robot manufacturer seeks qualified individuals for a Regional Sales Manager Food Business based in Wisconsin or Illinois.

Reporting to:

Local Head of GI & Food- Robotics USA

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic customer relationships, at all levels of the organization (from Executives/ Managing Director to technical projects teams)
  • Analyze and prioritize customer-specific requirements in the Food sector,
  • Develop new key accounts, OEM’s and end-customers in the Food sector
  • Define and implement Key Account Plan with associated sales targets
  • Develop, coordinate and implement sales strategies in the field of Food Robotics
  • Ensure customer proximity; participate and represent the company at events such as trade fairs, congresses, etc…
  • Expand of the robot business in the field of Food applications in USA
  • Monitor the marketing activities of competing companies and products,
  • Define the approach to launch strategy of a new product in the Food sector together with the Local Head of Food
  • Contribute to the division’s communication strategy
  • Closely cooperate with the manufacturing hubs in France & Germany and transfer of the Food idea into R&D, product management and Supply Chain
  • Internal CRM reporting

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in sales, marketing, project management, and business development
  • Excellent knowledge of the Food industry (knowledge of Food production processes in primary and secondary packaging, of standards and regulations)
  • MBA or university degree in management, technology or engineering or comparable education in combination with work experience
  • Structured, goal-oriented, and independent work with a high level of commitment
  • Strong analytical, communicative, and social skills
  • Motivation to accompany projects from start to finish independently and reliably
  • Self-confidence and negotiation skills (on the phone and in personal meetings)
  • Ability to relocate if necessary

Travel:

  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Valid passport or capability to get a passport
  • Willing and able to undertake travel up to 30-50% of the time.
