Full-Time Regional Sales Manager (Great Lakes)
Job Description
Ross Industries, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Regional Sales Manager to support the Great Lakes Region in the sales of capital equipment and ongoing account services. Extensive travel is required; the expectation is 75% with some weekend work required. The successful candidate will process a BS/BA in a Technical degree, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent experience and education.
The incumbent will perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
• Sell Ross processing equipment to the food processing industry
• Continually visit customers within designated region to assess needs for Ross equipment
• Identify customer needs, submit proposals, and close orders
• Assist in conducting demonstrations of Ross equipment, both at Ross Industries and customers’ facilities as required
• Prepare and submit sales forecasts for equipment on a monthly basis
• Proficient in MS Office products and CRM utilization
Job requirements include:
• Sales in capital equipment strongly preferred
• Experience in meat and/or poultry plants
• Previous experience in the food industry
• 5+ years’ experience in selling capital equipment in food processing industry preferred
• Proven track record
• Strong technical background
• Well organized, detail-oriented, with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent customer service and customer relationship aptitude
• Live in the territory (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, or Western Pennsylvania)
